2024 Jurassic Park Chenin Blanc

12.5% alc. - From the famous X2 block at Jurassic Park, own-rooted vines planted in 1978 on sandy limestone soils in the coastal Santa Ynez Valley.

Waves of aromatics immediately jump out and quickly evolve in the glass. From the fruit, to the mineral, to the savory, the nose is open and as complex as can be. On the palate the wine is precise, even a little tightly wound, which makes for an interesting dichotomy. We don't normally advertise this wine for aging, but there may be some real cellar potential here. In the meantime, the wine delivers a clean and crisp palate and intense aromatic joy.
