2022 Merk Vineyard Pinot Noir

12.3 % Alc. - Merk Vineyard is located in the coastal Carmel Valley. The mild climate and deep sandy soils produce a deep, but vibrant style of Pinot Noir.

The 2022 pops with sensual aromatics, vibrant color, dark fruit and spice, and an electric crackle of energy. The palate is medium weight for Pinot, with some whole cluster structure, but could not be more lively. Boisterous, not contemplative, this is the bottle you drink before AND after your Grand Cru Burgundy.
